Yale SOM International Experience
In 2014, Professor Mobarak took a group of students to Indonesia. During their time abroad, students met with a leading business consultant in Jakarta, members of the Ministry of Health, the Siloam hospital group, and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Students also had the opportunity to visit the Astra Honda Motor Plant outside Jakarta. After leaving Jakarta, students spent a considerable amount of time investigating deforestation issues. The group visited a palm plantation and met with organic coffee farmers, people conducting forest and orangutang conservation and a producers association.
